Mental Health America – Resources and Events 2/2021

The Prevent Suicide Wisconsin Conference will be April 29-30 via zoom and we’re still looking for breakout presenters. ;

The WI Zero Suicide Training Call for Applications has been released

Registration is open and dramatically discounted for several upcoming clinical suicide care trainings through the Behavioral Health Training Partnership.

MHA still hosts online (for now) suicide loss support groups and we’re looking for a peer facilitator.


MHA just launched the PRISM program, peer support for LGBTQ youth which means our warmline for people to call is live.

MHA is launching an Alternatives to Suicide peer support group for people with thoughts of suicide. First meeting will be on Feb 11.

The Suicide in Wisconsin: Impact & Response report was released back in September, but since then we’ve released some supplemental resources for it.
